“Assembling Common Worlds: An Interdisciplinary Conference on the Environment and Young People’s Literature and Culture”, a project developed by Dr. Justyna Deszcz-Tryhubczak with researchers from Vancouver Island University (Prof. Terri Doughty, Prof. Amanda Wager and their team), received a grant from the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. The grant will be used to organize an international conference with the participation of children and young people, including representatives of First Nations, and to publish a collected volume combining the perspectives of research into literature and culture for young audiences, childhood studies, pedagogy and the posthumanities.
