W dniach 13-15 września 2022 r. w Leuven (Belgia) odbyło się seminarium Voicing the Silence: New Approaches in Russian and Ukrainian Literature on the Holocaust in the 21st Century zorganizowane w ramach projektu 21st-Century Literature and the Holocaust. A comparative and multilingual perspective.
W seminarium wzięły udział członkinie zespołu badawczego projektu, ściśle związane z Centrum Badań Literatury dla Dzieci i Młodzieży: prof. Marina Balina i prof. Irena Barbara Kalla. Ponadto członek Centrum dr Mateusz Świetlicki wygłosił na zaproszenie wykład „Survivors, Oppressors, Implicated Subjects, and Entangled Bystanders: Ukraine and the Holocaust in Historical Fiction for Children and Young Adults”.
